Gibraltar Rugby Hosts Age Grade Rugby Tournament Inviting Ceuta Rugby and Ciencias Rugby To Europa Point Stadium.
Last Saturday, Gibraltar Rugby Age Grade teams proudly hosted Ceuta Rugby and Ciencias Rugby teams in a groundbreaking three-way tournament. This event marked the first time Spanish teams have traveled to Gibraltar for such a competition, making it a historic occasion for all involved.
The tournament featured fierce competition across three age groups: Under 8, Under 10, and Under 12. Each team brought their best to the field, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship in a series of hard-fought matches.
Despite the intensity of the competition, the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect was evident throughout the day. Players, coaches, and supporters from all three teams enjoyed the opportunity to engage in tough, yet friendly, competition.
This tournament was a fantastic experience for our young players, who hosted Ceuta Rugby and Ciencias Age Grade Rugby teams. This year’s tournament has not only provided valuable match experience, it also fostered new friendships and connections within the rugby community.
