Europa Sports Complex Pitch Usage Conditions
The GFA now manages the exterior assets at ESC and have installed a brand new UEFA (and World Rugby) compliant pitch. In using the pitch, we have been asked to comply with the following:
- Only molded boots to be worn.
- Once designated, training areas are to be kept to.
- Training times/allocations will be monitored and must be adhered to.
Tom has produced a detailed reference sheet accessible via a QR code (below) to inform all parents of Training times, locations and guidance on footwear.
Rugger Tots are exempt from the footwear requirements, but we would ask if you could access the normal training area by the northern or southern edges (old turf) of the main pitch and not walk over the pitch – Thank you.

Trusted Novus Bank Youth Rugby Festival – Round 4
Please join us at Europa Sports Complex for some fast paced and entertaining Tag Rugby at the TNBank YRF.
After 3 rounds its the Sharks ahead in years 2 & 3, with the Sharks and Buccs tying for first place in years 4 & 5 and a rare 3 way tie for first place in years 6 & 7!
It’s still too close to call, so please come along and cheer on your children on Saturday. Fun starts at 10.00, Games start at 10.40.
Three Kings Cavalcade 2025
What a fantastic site is was to see our members parading down Main Street. Huge thanks to the Age Grade and Women’s sections that made such a vibrant and positive statement about Gibraltar Rugby. It was a shame that our new lights didn’t get the chance to dazzle. Because of the parade timings being brought forward due to the weather. However, it didn’t dull the spectacle as our women strained on the ropes pulling a truck! And our younger members enthusiastically waved Gibraltar and GRFU Flags.
Many thanks to all the organisers, coaches and sponsors that made it all happen – special thanks to Edward Rudd, Stagnettos and Mitsubishi Motors for their time and generosity.

Trusted Novus Bank Youth Rugby Festival Round 4

Age grade Stormers, Sharks, Buccaneers and Scorpions go head to head in the next round of the Trusted Novus Bank Youth Rugby Festival.
If your children have friends that are thinking of trying rugby, then this is the opportunity for them to come along and get involved. It’s a fun, non-contact version of rugby that rewards speed and agility. Just tell them to turn up at 10.00 and join in the fun.
